Athlete Agent Manual

Initial Registration

1. Submit Athlete Agent Application Form(PDF) with original signature to our Athlete Agent Registration office.
2. Include filing fee of $200.00 paid by personal check (no starter check), money order or a cashier's check. Make checks payable to the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State.

Renewals

A certificate of registration is valid for one year from the date issued. A registered athlete agent must renew their registration before the end of that year.

A renewal filing will consist of the following filed with our Athlete Agent Registration Office:

1. Application for Renewal as an Athlete Agent(PDF)
2. Renewal fee of $200.00 paid by personal check (no starter check), money order or a cashier's check. Make checks payable to the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State.

Note: Failure to renew before expiration makes you ineligible to act as an athlete agent until the renewal of your certificate of registration has been approved.
