Invention Developers doing business in North Carolina are required to make specific disclosures and utilize statutory terms in their contracts with their clients. In addition, Invention Developers must maintain a bond issued by a surety company and file a copy of the bond with the Secretary of State before the invention developer begins business in North Carolina.
