Current Rulemaking
We can only make or change a rule if the General Assembly has given us the authority to do so. Examples of times we engage in rulemaking are when:
- A new law is enacted.
- A rule needs to be amended or updated.
- A rule is out of date and needs to be repealed.
When we do engage in rulemaking, this page will include information about the proposed rules such as:
- The text of the proposed rule
- How to submit comments
- Information about any public hearings on the proposed rules
