The four filing types are:

  • Notice of Franchise
  • Commencement of Service
  • Notice of Withdrawal
  • Notice of Change in Ownership

Notice of Franchise

A person who intends to provide a cable service over a cable system in an area must file a notice of franchise with the North Carolina Secretary of State before providing service.

TheNotice of Franchise form is used for this filing.
