Those individuals who lobby and the entities that they represent must register within one business day of lobbying. Failure to register exposes the person who lobbied to both civil and criminal sanctions.
Lobbyists, Principals, and Certain Other Entities that spend monies on certain elected and appointed officials must file quarterly reports. Lobbyists and Principals must file monthly reports when they have provided anything of value to legislators and their immediate families and or legislative staff and their immediate families while the General Assembly is in session.
