It also works to enhance informed consumer choice. The FTC also fights monopolies in business. The FTC offers tips for consumers and accepts complaints about topics that include:

For example, the FTC offers tips on figuring out if a work-at-home job is a scam or not. The FTC also offers the national Do Not Call Registry where you can register your phone numbers to reduce the number of telemarketing calls you get.
