Current Rulemaking

We can only make or change a rule if the General Assembly has given us the authority to do so. Examples of times we engage in rulemaking are when:

  • A new law is enacted.
  • A rule needs to be amended or updated.
  • A rule is out of date and needs to be repealed.

When we do engage in rulemaking, this page will include information about the proposed rules such as:

  • The text of the proposed rule
  • How to submit comments
  • Information about any public hearings on the proposed rules

If you would like to be notified about any of our future rulemaking, you can find information about how to sign up on our mailing list HERE.

How can we make this page better for you?
